Description Rhizin 5mg/5ml Syrup 60ml is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of the natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and a runny nose.   In addition, you can use it to treat itching and swelling caused by chronic hives. Cetirizine which is also Rhizin is described as a non-sedating antihistamine which is long-acting and has some mast-cell stabilising activity. It appears to have a low potential for drowsiness in usual doses and to be virtually free of antimuscarinic activity. It is used for the symptomatic relief of allergic conditions including rhinitis and chronic urticaria.
