Description Benylin Original syrup provides effective and fast relief from the symptoms of cough and catarrh. The drug is for oral use for adults and Children aged 12 years and over. This product should not be used for ongoing cough fromsmoking or long-term breahing problems unless directed by your doctor. This product contains dextromethorphan ,a cough suppresant that works by decreasing the feeling of needing to cough. Cough and cold products have not been shown to be safe or effective in children younger than 6 years. Do not use this product to treat cold symptoms in children younger than 6 years unless specifically directed by the doctor.
