Description Gone Insect Repellent Band. Scientifically proven to repel mosquitoes, ticks, flies, gnats, roaches and other annoying bugs and insects with a vapour barrier that protects up to 1.5 metres. Effective for 5 days or 120 hours (even when band is wet). Can be stored between uses in the included reusable vapour bag ensuring your band stays fresh and potent between uses. The active ingredient is mint oil. Gone contains 9.5% mint oil which is 100% natural, safe and very effective. Gone is the only product of its type that has been tested and approved for use by several government military forces including the US Military. The band adjusts easily to fit an ankle or wrist. Made in the USA, originally developed in Long Island New York in 1994, and extensively tested since by the field’s most famed experts in the U.S., Canada and Australia. There are other similar products on the market, however these are MUCH less effective than Gone because they use inferior repellents such as citronella. Recently Gone Insect Repellent Band was supplied to eleven Eye Specialists working in Timor with the Dr Fred Hollows Foundation. This included work in remote villages where all sorts of biting insects are encountered.
